Hong Kong Pools

The summer heat in Hong Kong can be overwhelming at times, but many brave souls still venture outside to enjoy the scorching sun. The best way to beat the heat, however, is to take a refreshing dip at one of the city’s show-stopping swimming pools. From luxury hotel pools that overlook iconic landmarks to stunning indoor pools with sweeping views, Hong Kong offers plenty of options for those looking to relax and soak up some sun.

Swimming can be a great source of exercise, especially if you’re a beginner or a fitness enthusiast. It can also help reduce stress and boost your energy levels. In addition, it can be a fun activity to do with friends and loved ones, or even on your own. But where can you find the best hongkong pools? Here are some of our top picks.

Located in the seaside district of Ma On Shan, this pool complex features a main pool, training and teaching pools, and an outdoor kid’s pool complete with whimsical water installations like mushroom and tree-shaped fountains. Its four waterslides are said to be some of the fastest in Hong Kong. The pool is also a popular spot for swimming lessons and is frequently visited by school children.

The Peninsula is known as a shopper’s paradise, but the hotel also houses one of the city’s most beautiful indoor swimming pools. The Roman-inspired pool design is the perfect place to feel like you’re on vacation away from home, and the sweeping view of Hong Kong’s skyline will inspire you as you swim.

Designed by Rocco Yim, this pool offers an unbeatable blend of beauty and functionality. The pool’s unique “seashell” shape allows for natural light to flood the indoor pool, while a series of glass walls create an impressive visual effect. The pool’s location is just as impressive, overlooking the Ngong Ping cable car terminal and the city’s skyline.

The pool is open to non-hotel guests and offers a range of facilities, including a state-of-the-art double height gym, a pool bar, and an Angsana Spa by Banyan Tree. Its level 9 pool deck is a great place to lounge, with plenty of seating and an impressive view. Non-hotel guests can access the pool on weekdays for a maximum of four hours with a swimming pass. The pass costs HKD 600 for adults and HKD 300 for kids. Alternatively, you can head to the hotel’s other two pools on the ground floor – both of which are open all year round. They both have indoor and outdoor pools, a sundeck, and an outdoor Jacuzzi. The indoor pool is heated in the winter and both pools are equipped with a sauna.
